Cherry Crumble Cake

Ingredients:

Crumble:                                             
  1. Melted butter : 50 g
  2. Cane sugar/ brown sugar : 100 g
  3. Plain flour : 50 g
  4. Cinnamon powder : 1/2 tsp
Cake:
  1. Caster sugar : 175 g
  2. Sunflower oil : 4 tbsp
  3. Egg : 1 large
  4. Milk : 120ml
  5. Plain flour : 220g
  6. Baking powder : 2 tsp
  7. Salt:  a pinch
  8. Fresh/canned cherries: 220 g  
💁If you are using Canned Cherries,  remove the liquid solution and use only the Cherries

Preparation : 
Crumble : 
  1. Mix all the crumble ingredients together and spread on plate. It will be used later.
Cake: 
  1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees (Convection mode)
  2. Add sugar, oil, egg in a mixing bowl and whisk well using an electric whisk on a medium speed for 3 minutes
  3. Add 120 ml milk to the above mixture and whisk it for 1 minute on a low speed
  4. Add flour, baking powder, salt and whisk on medium-low speed for 2 minutes 
  5. Add cherries and fold it gently into the cake batter
  6. Transfer the cake batter into cake tin and sprinkle over the crumble evenly on the cake 
  7. Bake the cake for 50 to 55 minutes
  8. Insert a toothpick stick in the center of the cake, it should come out clean, that actually indicates your cake is done
  9. Take cake out of the oven and let it completely cool down

Note:
1 tsp. : 1 teaspoon
1 tbsp. : 1 tablespoon
I have used canned Cherries in the recipe.
